Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ – Downtown Culinary + Historic Walking Tour
Q: How far will we be walking?
A: The total distance is around 1.4 miles; but this is over the course of 3 – 3.5 hours. We walk for a few minutes to each restaurant/historic site; but we do more sitting and eating than walking.
Q: Is the tour wheelchair friendly?
A: YES! In fact we had families take the tour and confirm the terrain is easy to traverse and there are ramps/elevators at all locations.

Q: How much food do we get? Will we feel “full?”
A: Each location has creative liberty to serve what they feel will be a mouth watering dish for each guest! This means that the menu is constantly changing; however, when asked, every person has stated they are so full they couldn’t eat anything else!

Q: I’m not from Florida and I am worried about over heating walking around downtown. Should this be a concern for me?
A: We completely understand that everyone has their own heat tolerance, that’s why we designed this tour to mostly be in shaded areas or indoors. Although there will be a few times we are outside, the majority of the time we will be indoors with air conditioning. We do encourage everyone to dress accordingly to the weather and maybe bring a portable fan. We also provide a bottle of water so that you can stay hydrated 🙂

Q: Where should I park?
A: Metered parking downtown is free on the weekends. There is also paid parking available at the Hyatt via Valet or self serve (please note, these have additional fees). We recommend arriving a few minutes early to find parking along Bay or Market St. Or booking a taxi/rideshare so you don’t have to worry about parking.
